Role Overview

The University of Gloucestershire is seeking a Director of Digital to lead its ambition to become a truly digitally connected university. As a member of the senior leadership team, the role will shape and deliver a university-wide digital strategy aligned with institutional transformation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a clear digital strategy supporting teaching, research and services.
  • Oversee Digital Services and IT Operations & Security teams.
  • Deliver transformation priorities including cloud migration of core systems.
  • Champion effective use of data and insight for decision-making and performance.
  • Embed secure, resilient and modern technology foundations.
  • Work with academic leaders, professional services, suppliers and regional partners.
