Role Overview
The AI Training Specialist supports the University’s commitment to developing AI literacy and responsible use of artificial intelligence across learning, teaching, assessment, and professional services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on training and develop learning materials for AI literacy.
- Support academic and professional service colleagues in using generative AI.
- Develop accessible learning materials, user guides, exemplars, and online resources.
- Provide guidance on AI-informed teaching practices and assessment adaptations.
- Collaborate with AI & Education Specialists on institution-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Understanding of opportunities, risks, and ethical considerations of AI in education.
- Experience designing or delivering training or staff development.
- Experience creating accessible online learning materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multi-professional teams.
