Role Overview
The Senior Data Insights Officer plays a key role in using data, insight and research to improve student experience and service delivery at King’s College London. The role focuses on generating high-quality insights across core digital products including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the King’s Student App and AI-enabled tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex quantitative and qualitative datasets to monitor KPIs and support service-level agreements
- Use tools such as Microsoft Power BI and AI-enabled text analytics to generate actionable insights
- Analyse student feedback and institutional survey data
- Produce clear, structured reports for a range of stakeholders
- Collaborate with Digital Product, UX and Student Services teams
- Support evidence-led innovation and strategic initiatives such as the Single View of Students
Requirements
- Experience analysing large or complex datasets for KPI reporting
- Strong knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Experience with Excel, Microsoft Power BI and Nvivo
- Ability to communicate insights to diverse audiences
- Working knowledge of data protection laws such as GDPR
Additional Information
This is a full-time, indefinite contract. Salary from £39,076 per annum including London Weighting Allowance.
