Two full-time Research Software Engineers are sought to build and support data-driven research software within the University of Glasgow’s Centre for Data Science and AI.
Role Overview
The University of Glasgow is seeking two Research Software Engineers to contribute to world-changing, data-driven research. Based in the Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI), the postholders will work closely with Research Computing as a Service (RCaaS) teams to deliver digital and scientific solutions supporting multidisciplinary research.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver data-driven software solutions for research projects
- Collaborate with researchers and technical experts across disciplines
- Support research aligned with six key Data Science and AI areas
- Contribute to high-quality, sustainable research software
Additional Information
These are full-time (35 hours/week), fixed-term posts for up to 3 years. Relocation assistance may be provided, and visa sponsorship may be available under the UK Skilled Worker route.
