Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Research Platforms Engineering team.
- Maintain and develop on-premise HPC and cloud-based research platforms.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams across the University.
- Identify future research computing needs and align technologies.
Technical Environment
- High Performance Computing (CPU/GPU clusters, storage, networking).
- AWS-based Data Safe Haven for sensitive research data.
- Cluster management using infrastructure-as-code.
- Lustre file systems, Slurm schedulers, monitoring, security, containerisation.
Requirements
- Significant experience in research computing technologies.
- Expertise in HPC and cloud platforms.
- Experience leading technical staff and workloads.
